We loaded our equipment on to the bikes and took them for a spin at Morton Arboretum. Have been sorting through our gear trying to take only the essentials. Current weight: Pat’s bike 36 pounds plus 30 gear, Mark 39 pounds for bike plus 47 pounds of gear. If the bike ride does not work out we should be able to get work on a road crew with those vests.
