Jeff from Colombia, MO came over to chat as we were getting ready to leave for the days ride. He and wife Kay were with a group doing some sightseeing in area. Jeff asked where the motor was on bike and we responded that our motors were not working too well as we had the Ozark’s in front of us. He and wife a tandem and are planning a trip to Michigan so you can imagine we could of spent hours chatting with Jeff.

You never know what we are going to see along the road! Longhorn Steer

Here is a sample of the rolling hills we are traveling. Area is spectacular and bet the fall colors would be stunning. NO not turning around in Oregon and coming back on bike to see colors.

This truly is Pat’s favorite road sign!

Pat and Mark….surprised at the number of bike hostels along your route. Very pretty part of our country. I am getting a lot of use of my Road Atlas as I track your travels. You guys are doing so well.
